Ella G. Burgos moved to Los Angeles, to expand and grow her knowledge as a musician, music composer and producer. Ella has been working as a bass player and recording producer for artists and bands such as KingQueen (Hollywood in Media Awards), Tamara Kumbula (Preach Records), and Saul Losada (Pre-Grammy Awards).

Ella G. Burgos was born and raised in Lima, Peru in a non-musical family. She found herself loving music at the age of 12, when she was gifted an acoustic guitar by her mother. She found a passion in composing, and started to take music classes at The School of Music of UPC (University of Applied Sciences). When Ella turned 17, she started working with one of the producers of “In-Music Lima” who taught her everything she knows about music production and engineering. “I am very grateful to mentors like Roberto Cardenas, who pushed me to always pursue my passion for music. Same goes to another amazing mentor Anthony Ly, that I met while studying at UPC. They both have been really great music and life mentors that have expanded my knowledge and helped my career before moving to Los Angeles.”

When Ella turned 20, she decided to move to Los Angeles and attend Musicians Institute — Hollywood, to earn a degree in Music Composition. Not long after that, Ella started working in films such as “Listless” that was an Official Selection at the Manhattan Film Festival and IFF Boston in 2020, and was aired on TV by SHORTS TV in June, 2021. She was also a music composer for “Oblivion”, another Official Selection at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival, and was a Jelly Film Festival Finalist in 2020. Ella has also worked for favorite Hollywood designer Diana M. Putri at the Los Angeles Fashion Week 2021. “I worked with Diana in the introduction video that the production team needed before the runway show. It was such a great experience to be part of an epic production like that.” Says Ella.

Apart from composing and producing, Ella has been performing as a bass player for nominated and award-winning band KingQueen. They have been seen in recognized venues around Los Angeles, such as world-famous “The Troubadour”. Ella started working with the band as a recording producer for the band’s hit songs “Roller Coaster” and “Live It Up”. “Roller Coaster” earned a nomination for “Rock Song of The Year” at the 2021 Hollywood In Media Awards and “Live It Up” got the band signed to their recent record label Curtain Call Records. Not long after that, Ella was selected as an official member of the band as a bass player. The band already has tour dates coming up for all 2022 that you can find in the band’s official website!

“Being part of amazing productions, composing and producing, and now playing is just very rewarding for me. I never thought I’d get back into the stage for a while, but it really was just the right time and everything fell into place for this to happen. I love playing bass, I’m so grateful for my band KingQueen, and for all the other artists that I am playing for and being part of their journey. My career has grown because of all of you. Thank you.” Ella explains.
